In this study sought to establish the characteristics and determinants fundamentals of the processes of human development and organizational development institutions in eight health service providers in the city of Medellin. This project at its inception, supported budgeted achieve their goals in a sample of eleven institutions, but in the course of research sample was reduced to eight institutions for failure to comply with the parameters of the sample selection and the withdrawal justified two institutions, which were withdrawn from the sampling frame. For the purpose of this study was defined a frame of reference in which the variables were identified more committed to the processes of human development and organizational development, which then served as the operationalization of its support for the construction of a tool for collecting information, giving rise to the polls aimed at caregivers and the directives of the eight institutions that formed the sampling frame.
