The present research aims to show the processes of the transformation in the landscape that have been generated in the municipality of Madrid Cundinamarca by the incursion and development of floriculture. The changes generated in the land use, agricultural practices, economics, extraction systems and production systems over the last 30 years. By means of this series of factors it is expected to show the changes in the landscape. Has the floriculture influenced the transformation of the landscape from 1985 to 2015 in the municipality of Madrid Cundinamarca? is the general question of this project that will have a quantitative orientation, it is intended to carry out a review of availability of Landsat images and aerial photographs where the landscape transformation can be analysed, finding out what changes of the coverage have been presented, what the change of the dominant coverage is, what the probability of the change of the coverages in the next period is and what factors determine the changes of the coverage; finally, it is expected to create a document showing the transformation of the municipality landscape, in such a way that it serves as a reference to subsequent plans of territorial ordering in the municipality.
