This monograph is descriptive and qualitative nature, it seeks to analyze the political impact of the strategy of forced manual eradication, implemented by the Colombian government to combat the proliferation of illicit crops in the country, by observing events and events that exist specifically in Puerto Asis Putumayo, during the period 2010-2014, performing an analytical path origin of the phenomenon of coca planting and production in large quantities in the city, collecting demographic, geographic information and analyzing common factors you can find for planting crops is the main problem of the region.
