The use of technology Information and communications (ICT) in higher education has been considered as a means to improve the quality of academic programs, however, and despite the efforts of the various educational institutions, in the area of ??health these processes are not fully developed, the classic model of learning in which the teacher transfers knowledge to students is maintained. Objective: To design, implement and give elements of assessment for learning strategy blended learning teaching course Integrated Prevalent Childhood Diseases (IMCI) aimed at professionals and students last semester at the University of the Andes Bogota - Colombia 2015. Materials and methods: description of an experience in technological innovation IMCI course offered in blended learning mode at the University of the Andes in Bogota - Colombia during the first half 2015 students from IX, X and XI of and 34 undergraduate medical professionals ESE Usaquen Hospital. It has three phases. Phase I. Design and implementation of the course. Phase II. Perception blended modality in the IMCI strategy. Phase III. Formulation of a proposal with a critical approach. Results: We designed and implemented the course of Attention Integrated to the Prevalent Childhood Illnesses IMCI mode Blended learning, with an intensity of 105 hours in 15 weeks participated 74 people among which 34 were health professionals the Usaquen Hospital and 40 medical students from the University of the Andes.
