Los que estan a favor de la unidad linguistica del espanol justifican su respuesta en la mejoria de la comprension en la comunicacion. Los que estan en contra sostienen que la unidad linguistica pone en riesgo la identidad socio-cultural que ofrece cada variedad del espanol. Se considera al espanol colombiano como el modelo notable de unidad, seguido de la variedad de Espana y la de Argentina. EnglishThrough a linguistic attitudes survey applied to 400 Spanish-speaking subjects from Bogota (Colombia), we identify differences respect to language unity. The people who are for the language unity justify their answer in the improvement of comprehension on communication. The people who are against the language unity argue that unity could put at risk the socio-cultural identity which offers each Spanish variety. According to the subjects, the Spanish spoken in Colombia is the most remarkable model of language unity, followed by the Spanish spoken in Spain and Argentina.
