From the juridical archive on the normativity that regulates the uses of public space in Colombia, we analyze the discursive transformations regarding the legality of their occupation by the informal sellers, from a poststructuralist perspective of the State, for which it is decentralized as the main actor of politics and focuses on the analysis of power and its effects. This approach involves the study of the disciplinary device and governmentality as strategies for the administration of populations.
