Desde sus inicios en el siglo XIX la Universidad Nacional de Colombia ha sido agente de transformacion social en funcion del proyecto de nacion con que comenzo la Republica. A la fecha, dicha universidad ha marcado significativamente la actividad economica del pais (tal como lo muestran las cifras presentadas en esta investigacion) en razon de la influencia que sus egresados han tenido en los sectores productivos y de servicios; todo ello ordenado a un proyecto consciente de vinculacion de la Universidad con la sociedad. Impact of National University of Colombia and its graduates in the different economics sectors of Antioquia in the last years Abstract Since its beginnings in the nineteenth century the National University of Colombia has been an agent of social transformation based on the project of the nation with which the Republic began. To date, said university has significantly marked the economic activity of the country (as shown by the figures presented in this research) due to the influence that its graduates have had in the productive and service sectors; all ordered to a conscious project linking the University with society.
