This research seeks to analyze the role of the FARC-EP's Middle Commanders (Managers) in a DDR process to determine whether they constitute a stabilizing or destabilizing factor in the transition from a conflict to a post-conflict, specifically for the Colombian case between FARC-EP and the National Government. The Middle Managers. Who are they? How to define them? What is their profile? What to do with them? What were their roles in the war and what are the possibilities and challenges they face in relation to their demobilization? Those are some of the questions that we will formulate in this investigation.
