The Integrative Formative Project (IFP) is a methodological strategy which develops and reports integrative and formative students’ process in the natural Sciences and environmental education areas. This proposal must be accompanied by a process of course curricular redesign where the resume must be assumed like an hypothesis to be resisted, implying the need of reflection processes and qualification of professors, and an active role of the students, both in the planning and in execution and evaluation of them. The proposal and structure of the IFP, helps the human formation, the specific academic in natural sciences area, the research and experimental beginning and communicate competitions. It promotes the formation by competitions in its complex conception; this is, integrating the dimensions cognitive, socioafective, productive and metacognitive. A distinguishing aspect with other learning proposals by projects is that IFP, helps to do it without damaging discipline rigor (thematic and procedural). The project is not valued like a project, but the formation process powered through it.
