The present article intend to establish developments and advances in the use of psychodiagnostic tests in the Colombian forensic context. For this purpose an analysis of 113 of 140 psychodiagnostic tests, presented on the project belonging to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a bibliographical review on related subject were developed. The analysis of the psychodiagnostic tests was made through index cards made for each test and their subsequent categorization on a matrix according to criteria such as kind of test, authors, publication year. Time required for its application, existing adaptations, scientific validity and reliability, etc. results led to the conclusion that pointed out the need to include such kind of tests on the Colombian legal context, the need of scientific research supporting this kind of methodologies on forensic contexts, and the importance of concepts such as test validity, test reliability, tests normalization and their application in legal contexts.
