EnglishThe aim of this article is to propose a reading about the philosophical concepts of Greek and English skepticism in Borges literature. The particular focus in this study has been not only upon a thematic level but also stylistic issues: the epoche used to generate multiple views of the same text and in like manner, Berkeley and Hume’s theoretical postulates essential for the writing process of the Argentine. The theme developed in this article is not a novelty with regard to the research on the works of Borges. Nevertheless it makes the difference because the majority of the studies are based on the most canonical short stories and this one analyzes the texts that have not been deeply studied by the critique.
