espanolEn el municipio de Yacopi (Cundinamarca), aflora un cuerpo intrusivo basico con caracteristicas similares a las de otros cuerpos reportados por MORENO & CONCHA (1993), VASQUEZ, et al., (2010), en la Cordillera Oriental, como el de tragarepas, la Victoria, Caceres y Puerto Romero entre otros.Macroscopicamente, las rocas son de color verde claro, con textura faneritica fina a media; composicionalmente se reconocen plagioclasas, piroxenos, biotitas y piritas. Microscopicamente poseen texturas finas a mesogranulares; mineralogicamente contienen plagioclasas (oligoclasa), clinopiroxenos, anfiboles, biotita, minerales opacos (pirita), apatitos, epidotas (sobre plagioclasas, piroxenos y anfiboles) y clorita (como producto de alteracion de la biotita). Petrograficamente se les clasifica como dioritas, de acuerdo con Streckeisen, 1974.A las rocas se les realizaron analisis quimicos, y con base en los minerales normativos (norma CIPW) fueron clasificadas como monzodioritas y monzogabros. Se establecio que geoquimicamente las muestras corresponden a gabros y sienogabros de la serie alcalina, ricos en K. Con base en diagramas de discriminacion geotectonica, se plantea, que las rocas se generaron en un ambiente distensivo en el interior de una placa. EnglishAn intrusive basic body outcrops in the vicinity of Yacopi village, Cundinamarca state, Colombia, with similar features to those bodies already reported by MORENO & CONCHA (1993), VASQUEZ, et al., (2010), in the Eastern Cordillera, like La the Tragarepas, La Victoria, Caceres y Puerto Romero and others one.Macroscopically, the rocks are light green colored with a medium to fine phaneritic texture and composed by plagioclases, pyroxenes, biotites and pyrites. Microscopically, the rocks are composed by plagioclases (oligoclase), clinopyroxenes, amphiboles, biotites, opaques (pyrite), apatites, epidotes (located over the plagioclases, pyroxenes and amphiboles) and chlorites (as the result of the biotite´s alteration) in a fine to medium grain texture. Petrographically, the rocks are classified as diorites, according with the Streckeisen´s diagram, 1974.Chemical analysis used to calculate the standard CIPW norm establish that rocks are in the monzodiorites to monzogabbros range. With these results, and using the different geochemical classification diagrams, it is established that the samples are gabbros and syeno-gabbros from the alkaline series, K-rich. By other hand and based on geotectonic discrimination diagrams, it was determined that the rocks were formed in an intraplate extensional domain.
