espanolEn esta investigacion se describen las practicas de ensenanza de la lectura en grado primero. La muestra se constituyo de 27 docentes. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: la observacion directa, el video, la guia de observacion y grupo focal. Se utilizo el analisis de contenido. Los resultados confirman predominio en el empleo del metodo sintetico. En lo concerniente a las practicas se observa una tendencia centrada en implantar normas y orden en el salon, implementacion de actividades ludicas y abandono en el uso de recursos tecnologicos. Asimismo, se encontro mayor predominio en el rol tradicional respecto al rol constructivista y progresista. EnglishIn this research describes the practices of teaching reading in first grade. The sample was constituted of 27 teachers. The instruments used were: direct observation, video, a guide of observation and focus group. We used the analysis of content. The results confirm the predominance in the use of the synthetic method. With regard to the practices there is a trend toward focusing on implementing rules and order in the classroom, implementation of activities and abandoned in the use of technological resources. It is also found in the traditional role with regard to the role of constructivist and progressive
