In every educational institution, regardless of whether it is public or private, two important processes that support what to do are identified: the grades process and the registration process - student enrollment. Due to the key role that these two processes play in the correct performance of an educational institution and adding the deficiencies that have been identified in the software applications offered in the market for the education sector - Background survey phase -, it has been decided to focus the thesis project on the implementation of an academic management system for the Gerardo Arias Ramirez educational institution that satisfies the information requirements of its grades and enrollment processes. The marks process is the set of procedures, norms and rules that allow to control and record the attendance of the students to the different assigned classes, as well as to keep the record of the notes of the works and the evaluations developed by the students. students during the periods managed by the educational institution, in such a way that the teachers, guardians, coordinators and administrators of the institution can control the grades that have been recorded during the school year.
