This is a bibliographical review of the free trade Agreement between Colombia and the European Union, whose objectives are: to define the situation prior to the free trade agreement With the European Union; Define the situation after the entry into force of the FTA; To define the main aspects of the final agreement and to enunciate some situations of the agrarian sector in Colombia in terms of trade with the European Union. The methodology is also divided into the following stages: compilation of bibliographic documents; Review and selection by topic; Analysis of selected information and condensation and drafting of the article. In addition, the realization of the article makes it possible to conclude that: the process for signing the agreement was a process that, although beneficial, was disintegrating for the Andean Community of Nations; Protection measures for some Colombian sectors are insufficient; The Colombian agricultural sector is the largest beneficiary by agreement with the EU.
