This paper asks, what is Political Science? Being all questions to be answered, it is providing an explicit answer to the systematic study aimed territory cultural called policy, it is possible to identify the subject from Aristotle, Machiavelli – identifying continue despite the epistemological break he represented –and continue watching in contemporary political science with their different approaches, allowing her to respond examines current political events from different perspectives, while maintaining their identity, and recognizing that science requires as few proposals, thematic and explanations in their activities, institutionalization and professionalization.
