In this article marketing and logistics are considered as the most important functions, which form the competitive advantages of companies. Reasonable organization of the enterprise logistics allows to minimize costs, to increase profitability, due to the reduction of commodity stocks, the improvement of indicators of capital turnover, the optimal use of warehouse and transport capacities, and also to offer consumers a high-quality logistics service.Moreover, at present any trading or manufacturing enterprise, does not connected with the logistics, is highly unlikely.Thus, the logistics in the company's activities allow to optimize the commodity, financial and information flows at the enterprise, and also significantly reduce the time interval between the acquisition of raw materials, semi-finished products, and the delivery of finished products to the consumer; it contributes to a sharp reduction in resources.Finally, the relevance of studying the role of logistics in the management of an enterprise is conditioned by the process of globalization of production and commodity sector, and therefore the importance of logistics in any enterprise increases, since a significant part of the costs are often transportation costs. So, if an enterprise, in order to reduce production costs, is looking for the cheapest resources outside the country, in this case the share of logistics costs is significantly increased.
