This article aims to analyze the financial performance of the exporting SMEs in Barranquilla, Colombia. The research design is non - experimental of documentary or bibliographic character, with a type of descriptive - transectional study; And as a technique used is the registration by companies of financial indicators, as well as the design of a summary table of the financial statements of the same. As a result, the average indebtedness index of all sectors shows levels of risk since it fluctuates by 63,75% low share of the owners contribution 36,25% of equity, and an average net margin of 4.05%.
