Although words like hypertext and hypermedia are used frequently in communicative, formative inter, multi and transdisciplinary process, there are many conceptions that make more confuse its comprehension and even more, the making of efficient and effective hypertext documents. That is why this article explains the meaning of this concept from an informatics perspective, with the purpose of giving some light to everybody that use hypertext and hypermedial resources with educative aims.
