Los trastornos musculo esqueleticos relacionados con el trabajo que afectan al personal de la salud, han sido tecnicamente soportados mediante la aplicacion de herramientas estadisticas y tecnologicas que permiten establecer las variables en las diferentes areas y actividades que afectan el sistema musculo esqueletico. Los estudios se han desarrollado sobre la poblacion en general de los hospitales, por grupos ocupacionales y areas, Identificando de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa el comportamiento de dichas variables en el entorno laboral de las auxiliares de enfermeria y la correlacion con las afecciones de salud. Este estudio esta dirigido a determinar el aporte de la ergonomia frente al manejo del paciente adulto por parte del personal de Auxiliares de Enfermeria, actividad caracterizada por generar una alta carga mecanica y cuyos protocolos o tecnicas requeridas, a pesar de estar definidas, no pueden ser aplicadas apropiadamente debido a que las condiciones varian segun el sitio, equipos, recursos, condicion del paciente y actividad. Role of hospital ergonomics in the management of the adult patient by nursing auxiliary personnel Abstract Work-related musculoskeletal disorders that affect health personnel have been technically supported through the application of statistical and technological tools. These tools allow the establishment of variables in the different areas and activities that affect the musculoskeletal system. The studies have been developed in the general population of hospitals, by occupational groups and areas, qualitatively and quantitatively identifying the behavior of these variables in the work environment of nursing assistants and the correlation with health conditions. This study aims to determine the contribution of ergonomics to the management of the adult patient by the staff of Nursing Assistants, an activity characterized by generating a high mechanical load and whose protocols or techniques required, despite being defined, can not be appropriately applied because the conditions vary according to the site, equipment, resources, patient condition and activity.
