Following a leader is in human nature. From ancient times man had to gather in cluster and name a guide in order to ensure his survival. Nowadays it has become organizations and leaders, being their duties the same: working for the common good, joining forces under the guidance of the leaders. This thesis woks aims at finding if there is any relationship between leadership exercised at Colgate and the quality of life of their employees as organizations are increasingly more complex and demanding, it is mandatory for leaders to understand the needs and concerns of their followers in order to find an optimal way to meet them while keeping in mind the organizational objectives. Once a person spends most of his life within an organization we need to understand how that person matches his personal life with his career, his awareness of current structures and how he contributes individually to provide a positive change in his business environment. The tool used in order to collect relevant information was a correlational field descriptive cross sectional study by means of a random poll applying Likert scale for responses. Once the information was collected Pearson correlational was performed with the support of Minitab program. Results allow us to conclude there is no relationship between leadership and the quality of life and determine that leadership at Colgate does not provide and does not represent a determining factor to improve the quality of life of their members. Whether or not leadership is a determining factor for the quality of life of the employees, it is important to understand their expectations, if the model offered by the company meets them and if it does not meet them, to understand what they expect and obtain information in order to build together an organization employee system.
