La investigacion permitio entender la posicion de los jovenes en su clase, el lugar de los celulares en su vida, que hacen con ellos, cual es su importancia, por que los docentes los aceptan y que hacen con ellos en la clase, resultados que sorprendieron a muchos docentes por las respuestas obtenidas en las encuestas. Decimos, sujetos semioticos -en verdad lo somos todos-, pero en este caso, el estudio los denomina enfaticamente asi, pues son productores de sentidos, generadores de cambios de significados en el contexto en que se desenvuelven. Retroalimentan la cultura y la hacen ver transformativa, recurrente y creadora de nuevos signos. El estudio, bajo la metodologia cualicuantitativa, refleja el entorno en que los jovenes se mueven hoy, sus expectativas y lecturas sobre su misma vida.The research about “Cell phones, semiotic subjects that move away students from their social reality”, understand the position of youth people in its class, the location of cell phones in their lives, what they do with them, what their importance, why teachers accept and what they do with them in class, event that surprised many teachers by the responses obtained in surveys. We say, semiotic subject -indeed what we all-, but in this case, the study, called emphatically so, because they are producers of meaning, generators changes of meaning in the context in which they live. They feedback culture and make it look transformative, recurrent and creator of new signs. The study, under the quali-quantitative methodology, reflects the environment in which young people today move their expectations and readings of his own life. This is a new time in education and we need to rethink new possibilities.
