En este trabajo se desarrolla un estudio prospectivo a 2025 con el que se evalua las capacidades de innovacion en el sector salud de Barranquilla. El enfoque se hace sobre los actores que interactuan en el sistema con el fin de conocer los elementos mas relevantes que influyen en la gestion de innovacion y la investigacion. La prospectiva adquiere relevancia pues permite visualizar todo el sistema objeto de estudio, analizando las interacciones entre elementos internos y externos clave, actores y organizaciones. El analisis tambien permite estudiar los posibles escenarios futuros y, a partir de ellos, disenar estrategias que lleven al sistema a una situacion deseada o ideal. In this paper we design a foresight study by 2025 to evaluate the innovation capacity of the health sector in Barranquilla, Colombia. Trying to determine which are the most relevant elements that influence on management of innovation and research, we focus on the actors that interact in the system. For doing this, foresighting took an important role because it first allows visualizing the whole system under study, analyzing the interaction between key internal and external elements, actors and organizations. Later, it allows to visualize the possible future scenarios and to use them to design the most useful strategies to drive the system to a desired or ideal situation.
