Planteo, dimensionamiento y simulación de un sistema de acumulación de energía térmica usando sales eutécticas para el suministro de calor en etapas no solares de un deshidratador de alimentos
The use of alternative energy has mass worldwide, with the use of sources as solar radiation in agriculture this has become an important factor in the production. The thermal storage for long periods as the drying of high moisture foods is essential to dehydration; that it lasts between 10 to 20 hours depending on the food, with a continuous supply of heat. In this research was raised and design a system of accumulation of heat energy in eutectic hydrated salts for the heat supply to a solar dehydrator food in stages of low radiation. It conducted a literature review of different models of thermal energy storage; statistically analyzed the feasibility and effectiveness of the materials required to achieve a dehydration continuously; with these parameters defined was the theoretical calculation of the system which was later simulated in software of finite elements (SolidWorks). The results show that system delivers 10 hours of back-up power for 5 hours of charging, in addition the encapsulation of salt achieves a better transfer and accumulation of energy in a concentric system buffer, meeting the desired specifications.
