The genetic algorithms have their base in the theory of survival of Darwin’s species. These algorithms have been used satisfactorily in genetic and recently in a variety of problems of optimization in the field of the structural engineering. Stochastic processes generate an initial population of individuals, then the principles of natural selection of the most capable are applied to improve the designs, with base in given restrictions. One keeps in mind the analysis interfaces and design, and the basics operations of selection, crossing, mutation and parameters of having climbed.
