RESUMO : O presente artigo tece algumas consideracoes sobre a importância de uma proposta de educacao bilingue para alunos surdos. Apresenta um breve recorte sobre a educacao do surdo iniciada de maneira formal no seculo XVI, modelos e tendencias pedagogicas que foram se modificando ao longo do tempo, devido os novos paradigmas de educacao. Na perspectiva da educacao da pessoa surda, este trabalho ressalta a necessidade que a proposta pedagogica se comprometa com a elaboracao de um projeto educacional considerando a cultura surda, a construcao da identidade, o respeito e valorizacao a diferenca linguistica do sujeito surdo. Neste sentido, discute a relevância da Escola Inclusiva e Escola Bilingue para a formacao plena do Sujeito Surdo. By a bilingual education proposal for the deaf subject ABSTRACT: This article presents some considerations about the importance of a Bilingual Education Proposal for deaf students. It presents a brief clipping on the deaf education, formally initiated in the sixteenth century. It also presents models and pedagogical trends that have been changing over time due to the new education’s paradigms. This work highlights the need for the Pedagogical Proposal to commit itself to an educational project elaboration considering the Deaf Culture. Also considering the identity’s construction, respect and appreciation of the linguistic difference of the Deaf Subject. In this sense, it discusses the relevance of the Inclusive School and Bilingual School for the full formation of the Deaf Subject.
