The study was a qualitative action research which aimed to foster spoken fluency. It was conducted with a group of eighth graders with A2 level of English, whose lack of spoken fluency limited their overall oral performance in English as a foreign language (EFL). The selected strategy was The Daily 6, a blended tool that exploits the appealing characteristics of an Information and Communication Technology tool and the structure of the existing approach: The Daily 5 . Although there have been some studies that have contributed to the area of oral production in EFL, there is no evidence of studies that have explored the use of The Daily 5 in a Colombian context. The instruments used to collect data consisted of surveys, diagnostic and achievement tests, and recordings. This data displayed the progress achieved by learners after the implementation, as well as their attitudinal responses before, during, and after the implementation of the Daily 6 . The most valuable source of evidence on the successful outcome of the study was a spoken fluency measurement; performed by recording two achievement spoken tests and contrasting them by means of a rubric. It is evident that previous studies have been carried out to enhance spoken fluency in local and international fields; nevertheless, what this research offers to the ELT community is the design of a groundbreaking approach towards teaching English in the classroom.
