Leer a Walter Benjamin requiere paciencia, verdadera pasion que sera recompensada con la emergencia de un mundo vivo proveniente de documentos de la cultura inactuales: fotos, imagenes, escrituras, reliquias, libros, enseres, etc. Darle vida al tiempo significa reinsertarlo en una metafisica de la huella, en la que la densidad de la experiencia se hace visible cuando se pone a un lado el tiempo homogeneo y vacio del homo mensura moderno. Esta recuperacion del pasado no rine con la constatacion de que estamos en la epoca de las masas y la cultura mediatizada, epoca y cultura que han promovido a la existencia nuevas relaciones sociales, nuevas formas de subjetividad, experiencias del cuerpo y del conocimiento que se refieren al contacto, a la perdida del aura, a la interpretacion apropiadora de imagenes, mensajes, tecnologias. El marco de esta reflexion es el de un nuevo sensorium, coordenadas espacio-temporales en condiciones de recepcion tactil de la obra de arte y constitucion mediatica de la experiencia.Abstract:Reading Walter Benjamin requires patience, true passion that will be rewarded with the emergence of a vivid world coming from documents revealing cultural aspects of old times: pictures, images, writings, relics, books, utensils, etc. Bringing all this alive in time means reinserting it into the metaphysical dimension of the evidence, in which the density of the experience becomes visible when the homogeneous and empty time of the modern homomensura is put aside. This recovery of the past does not oppose the verification that ours is the time of masses and mediatic culture, a time and culture that have fostered the existence of new social relationships, new forms of subjectivity, experiences of the body and of the knowledge that refer to contact, to the loss of the aura, to the interpretation which makes use of images, messages, technologies. The frame of this reflection is that of a new sensorium, time-space coordinates in conditions of tactile reception of the work of art and mediatic constitution of the experience.Key words: Sensorium.
