Memoria para el presente aproximaciones a los aportes y oportunidades del testimonio a la reparación de las víctimas y a la construcción de la paz en Colombia
The central question that leads the current work is related with how, and in which perspectives the testimonio, as a product and cultural practice, promote moral repair on Colombian Armed Conflict victims and brings opportunities to pace-building processes in the country. In that way, once the problem of testimonio, reparation and pace-building is framed in light of the main literary criticism and related disciplines approaches, we propose an interpretative reading of seven testimonial stories written by people that have been victimized in the frame of the ongoing conflict events. From an ethical approach of pain, we build our reading making an interpretation of the underlying searching of the speaking subjects through their testimonies, as well as exploring how we could read them inasmuch as the victims reparation process. Afterwards we explore the meanings one of the experience writers gives to the testimonial writing, looking for what do the act and the opportunity of writing means for the victimized person. Finally, we observe the evidences in light of a pace-building conception of restoring narrative. Here, the core question guides to explore, from a adequate reading of testimonies, the opportunities that offer the testimonial practice and the written testimonio in the peace-builging processes in Colombia.
