An analysis of the influence geometry on the distribution of strains and deformations was performed in three tunnels built in Colombia, varying soil conditions, concrete thickness and cross section. The analysis consisted of the development of 36 finite element models that included 9 which correspond to the circular geometric section, named control structure. As an added value to the research, a methodology for the calibration of tunnels is proposed, through calculations using the convergences taken in field.
