Abstract:

This investigative project is interested in understanding and highlight valuable practices around social inclusion efforts managed in Colombia, based on the documentary systematization of significant experiences that reveal processes towards inclusive education of students with special educational needs, particularly those with Intellectual Disability condition. In order to characterize the main theoretical and methodological trends in relation to models of inclusive education, the process of systematization realized the critical study of 10 innovative experiments practiced by educational institutions in the country, analyzing and re signifying its achievements and limitations, as well as their perspectives and trends in development.
