The control of conventionality is one of the most valuable mechanisms of the States members of the Inter-American Human Rights system, its effective implementation and operation allows human beings to live with dignity, because it is a tool that if correctly applied allows respect, guarantee and realization of their Human Rights. Our research identifies major challenges and difficulties that undergo the control of conventionality, for this reason we propose a number of solutions aimed at solving the operational complexities in its application with the purpose of consolidate its effectiveness and overcome the difficulties in its practical use.
