This research aims to identify the potential use of some croplands to complement the conservation of 133 species of primates through 20 countries in the neotropical region, incorporating methods based on the spatial distribution resulting from de cost-benefit ratio. This spatial analysis includes ecological aspects of the species related to their distribution and habitat suitability, also, it takes into account the cost of opportunity of the agricultural uses obtained from the variables: performance, cost effectiveness and cost of production of the crops. Finally, a multicriteria analysis is made to identify the potential of the agricultural areas to complement the non-intervened areas in which the primates are distributed nowadays.
