Este articulo presenta los resultados obtenidos sobre la investigacion que aborda la Implementacion de las herramientas de informacion y de comunicacion por parte de los docentes de las asignaturas de ecuaciones diferenciales y el calculo diferencial pertenecientes al Politecnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid y la incidencia de dicha implementacion sobre el rendimiento academico de los estudiantes. Se hace necesario investigar sobre como los docentes y los alumnos asumen la implementacion de las Tics hacia el interior del aula, como contribuye la facultad a su implementacion, beneficios obtenidos con el trabajo realizado y como podria ser mejorado a partir de la presente investigacion. La investigacion realizada es de tipo analitica puesto que pretende analizar la incidencia que el uso de las tecnologias de la informacion y de la comunicacion (Tics) tienen en el rendimiento academico de los estudiantes de las asignaturas de calculo diferencial y ecuaciones diferenciales. Para potencializar lo anterior se realizo un muestreo a los grupos de calculo diferencial y a los grupos de ecuaciones diferenciales en los cuales se incluyeron sus respectivos docentes. La tecnica empleada fue la de la encuesta; dirigida a docentes y a estudiantes, asi como al analisis del rendimiento academico de una poblacion muestra de ecuaciones diferenciales y calculo diferencial en los cuales se implemento herramientas tecnologicas en el proceso de ensenanza, una vez finalizado el semestre 01-2010. ABSTRACT This article presents the results of the research that addresses the implementation of tools of information and communication by teachers in the subjects of calculus and differential equations given at to the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid and the incidence of such implementation on students' academic performance. It is necessary to investigate how teachers and students assume the implementation of ICT into the classroom, how the faculty contributes to its implementation, benefits obtained from the work done and how it could be improved from the present investigation. The research is analytical, critical, as it tries to analyze the impact that the use of information technologies and communication technologies (ICTs) have on the academic performance of students in the subjects of Calculus and Differential Equations, to potentiate the above were sampled groups of Calculus and Differential Equations in groups which included their teacher. The technique used was that of the survey, aimed at teaching students and academic analysis of a sample population of differential calculus and differential equations in which technological tools are implemented in the teaching process, once the semester 01-2010 ended
