The cocoa producers have the firm conviction that it is a legal alternative tender to create development and sustainability in rural areas of the country , giving the opportunity to the affected communities have economic stability by legal means with a product of high global competitiveness, because Colombia has an excellent fruit flavor and quality. International Cooperation is interested in pursuing projects that will assist in post-conflict and which relate to cocoa, one of the most important is COCOA FOR PEACE implemented by USAID agency of International Cooperation of United State. The investment for this product will generate great benefits in the process of disarmament, demobilization and reintegration by the FARC; thus demonstrating social inclusion with the best quality of life that generates sustainability. Is an alternative of great importance as it will not only contribute greatly to the process of post-conflict but which in turn will generate productive and economic development is sought to the country.
