Remote experimentation is key in the development of skills in engineering education. It contributes to increased coverage in the training of some electronic engineering courses, which require active experimentation. A remote laboratory was implemented for learning of optical electronic devices and power devices. The system consists of a set of electronic devices such as light emitting diodes, optocouplers, power diodes and its signal conditioning interfaces; however, a web-application tool was developed too regarding concepts as content management systems and learning management systems. Device characteristics curves were collected through graphical user interface via PC, which was connected to internet.
