This study shows the design and validity of a Life Quality Inventory for Epilepsy adults (INCAVI-72); and a design oh a Demographic and Clinical Data Questionnaire (CDQ). This study had five phases: (a) The Quality Life Instrument Translatio; (b) Juries assessment of INCAVI-100; (c) Pilot study; (d)application; (e) results, discussion and construction of instruction application manual. The characteristics of a participants were: an average age of 31.5 years old; 56% women and 44% men; 59% low class; 36% fifth graders, 65% married; 32% employees; 53% had general crisis (absences and and; 45% had focal crisis (high frecuency of complex crisis). Tha illness average was 15 years. The medications use more often were Carbomazepine and Dilantin (Diphenylhydantoin). The instrument had a general alpha of 0.935. The concept of Quality Life, here, means a dynamic physical, social and emotional well being that makes people carry out daily activities full of satisfaction; and it also makes possible the total development of each individual.
