Family has been constituted trough time as a highly relevant social institution, but while this natural unit remains in time, it's structure is malleable according to the cultural changes which echoes significantly in its organization, interactions as well as in the psyche sphere of its members. History show us how family and society exist in an interdependence and therefore according to the moment, family exposes different functions as a reflect of the evolution of each society. Although family its conceived as a propitious environment to protect and give affection to children, trespassing this functions may guide to the family disintegration and therefore the institutionalization of the children. With the purpose of exploring how this transformations of the organization in the familiar institution, has mental impact on institutionalized children, a qualitative study will be held through investigation-intervention of 3 patients, whom were treated whit psychoanalytic oriented psychotherapy, and are held in a protection home in Bogota city. At least 15 sessions will take place in order to obtain 15 registered protocols, which will establish the emerging descriptive categories and the relational hermeneutics categories. The study above will allow to comprehend the internal family organization in the children that will be part of the present investigation.
