Resumen La escritura academica en la educacion superior se presenta a los estudiantes como un desafio que los enfrenta a construir practicas de lectura, analisis y produccion de textos academicos que den cuenta de lo aprendido, de manera acorde a su nivel educativo, vinculando con este el pensamiento y el conocimiento que se produce a traves de la escritura. En la educacion superior se presenta una serie de dificultades que el estudiante debe superar para lograr aprendizajes significativos. En Colombia, los estudiantes universitarios producen pocos textos academicos y cientificos; diversas investigaciones plantean que los cursos de lectura y la escritura en las universidades deben repensarse como especificidades de los campos disciplinares y no de forma general, donde los estudiantes en el acto de escribir tengan el conocimiento sobre estos temas especificos. En este ensayo se pretende dar una mirada sobre los problemas al escribir y producir textos academicos. Abstract Academic writing in higher education is presented to students as a challenge that confronts them in building reading practices, analysis and production of academic texts that account for what has been learned, according to their educational level and therefore, linking with this the thought and knowledge that are produced through writing. Higher education presents a series of difficulties that the student must overcome in order to achieve meaningful learning. In Colombia, university students produce few academic and scientific texts. Thus, several investigations suggest that the courses of reading and writing in the universities should be rethought as specificities of the disciplinary fields instead of literacy language courses.
