In the di gital age, students, users of this education system are facing a changing, striking and innovative reality, where it is easier and fun to learn new topics of personal, social, cultural and academic interest a more affordable way, undetermined socioeconomic strata, due to technological advances of today. As part of an innovative education, it comes the need for a group of researchers teachers a proposal for the pedagogical intervention from the use of social networks make the development of critical thinking in students as possible. The study is immersed in the so called virtual ethnography, from the action of the teaching- learning process in the course of Spanish, to enable the development of critical thinking skills (reading, analysis and inference). The methodological approach developed in the project was focused on qualitative interpretation and understanding of the issues studied. It determined that students and teachers in their daily practices use social networks and this can be implemented by a number of methods, strategies and tools to provide our students with a quality education, which still meet the objectives, standards and aims of education, positive impact is achieved using these technologies and resources that every day are accessible to everyone and to be doing themselves within both personal dynamics, and to transmit and generate academic knowledge.
