The base of communication is the verbal or non-verbal linguistic sign. The non-verbal sign is that which uses haptic means (that is to say, the study of contact behavior and sensations) or visual in order to represent something in a conventional or systemic way from a social learning. It is studied by paralinguistics, proxemics and kinetics. In a foreign language teaching, it is necessary to identify the pedagogical implications of the handling of the non – verbal isusues in the assimilation and comprehension of the target language. By using the qualitative method and research instruments such as: direct observation, interview, and the development of functional activities, it is possible to recognize the grade of influence that the non – verbal communication exerts in the language teaching – learning process, especially, proxemics and kinetics. Ethnographic – educative research was used to conduct this study. Triangulation was used to analyze the gotten data.
