The participation of women in economic, political and social development is increasing and contributes to the production process of the organizations and the country in general. Stigmatization in the past, its further development so far and the raid on activities and careers that were previously exclusive to the male gender, have made social and academic variables change, transforming the participation of women in academic leadership positions. With the incursion of women in education and the transformation of social thought, one can say that women have equal treatment with men about some characteristics that have allowed their standard of living is better, but despite this, with the data obtained in the survey and analysis of existing studies, you can see the gap that still exists between genders. Women still have less participation in these leadership positions, allowing us to conclude that there is still work to invisible barriers that women face are eliminated entirely, because so far these have been partially eliminated.
