Cumplimiento de las competencias planteadas en las guías virtuales aplicadas a estudiantes de tercer semestre de enfermería para el aprendizaje de los procedimientos clínicos de drenaje gástrico y cateterismo vesical durante el año 2016
Compliance with the competencies raised in the virtual guides applied third semester nursing students to learn the clinical procedures of gastric drainage and bladder catheterization during the year 2016 Thank, to technological advance,. study tool, have been created that are of peat help and development for future professional,. such a, clinical simulator, and virtual guide,. The clinical simulation recreates a space and a scenario that is closer to reality, allowing student, to develop and put into practice all that ha, been learned. Virtual guides are a peat learning tool for students, because they allow them to develop or execute the process of the times that the necessary sea, to correct the errors or weaknesses presented and to strengthen then skills, without hasting to constantly count on the presence of the Student, m addition to those who may be more autonomous m their learning. But not only virtual guides and clinical simulators have allowed students to strengthen and strengthen then theoretical-practical knowledge, but also has panted the creation and adaptation of better methods and evaluation design. Nursing professionals must develop and acquire certain competencies, which can be evaluated and adapted to the virtual guides, since each step that is conceived m the guides, raises and executes each one of the competences, facilitating both the teacher and The student to identify which competition has the highest performance and in which not. At present, the nursing students of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana have these learning methods (virtual guides, clinical simulation center) where they can develop the respective competences and abilities, which must be acquired and developed by a nursing professional. The objective of the research was to know the fulfillment of the competencies raised in the virtual guides applied to students of third semester of nursing for the learning of the clinical procedures of gastric drainage and bladder catheterization during the year 2016. The research was a cross-sectional descriptive study, developed with 63 students of the third semester of the nursing program. enrolled in the first and thud academic years of the year 2016 in the subject of Assessment and Intervention for Nursing Car e to Individuals And to the Collectives, which evaluated the compliance of the Virtual Clinical Simulation Guidelines for Gastec Drainage and permanent and non-permanent Vesical Catheterization m men and women, and to whom the checklists for evaluation of the learning of these procedures were applied in the Framework of the competences established for professional training by the University. In the investigation of the respective guidelines of procedures were developed in the clinical simulation center with previous consent of the participants, later the statistical analysis of the collected information was earned out. In which the degree of fulfillment of the competences raised in the Five virtual guides that had the students participating in the research, where the competence of knowing to be was the one of lesser performance, followed by the competence of knowing to know and the one of greater performance was the competence of knowing to do.
