This essay aims at exposing international cooperation between the United States and Colombia during Plan Colombia focused mainly on the program Youth in Action of social prosperity and how the latter can be developed in a postconflict scenario for the purpose of providing support To young victims of conflict in Colombia. Therefore, the study is carried out in relation to theoretical foundations of international relations for international cooperation, especially under the guidelines of the neorealist theory of David Baldwin and studies on international cooperation of different authors and international organizations that were considered important for the development of the test. Statistical data, tables and a proposal for the international cooperation model for the simplification and interpretation of the information collected are also included.
