Desarrollo del pensamiento crítico a través del currículo crítico

Abstract:

This article relies on a qualitative enquiry of critical thinking through critical curricula. Semi-structure interviews and diaries were used as collection techniques. It was carried out with 11 students of Psychology and Social Communication at a university located to the North of Colombia. Students were allowed to analyze the social and political situations that Colombia is facing. The results showed that they came to new ideas and reasonings of how they can participate as active individuals in a construction of a new country and a better future with their active collaboration through their careers. They also recognized the importance of sharing, listening and discussing the others ideas in reflection circles. Furhermore, students increase their fluency and vocabulary in English.
