The aim of this research task was to identify the life style and self- concept of young male teens studying at university. These dimensions were evaluated through the application of the life style practice and beliefs questionnaires.( Arriaga, Salazar, Gomez,2002) and the questionnaire AF5( Garcia, F; Musitu, G, 2009). A non-experimental type of design was used in this investigation. It was also transversal and descriptive. The population participating, in this study were 85 university students. There was a mismatch between the practices and beliefs about life styles with high frequency in healthy life style. In relation with self-concept, it registered a high frequency in the emotional dimension and low related to familiar self-concept dimension.
