This work reports the design of an Implementation Guide for Enterprise Architecture in educational Institutions, based on Colombia IT Architecture [1] and the TOGAF framework. The guide was designed in the context of a specific public school and aims at reducing the complexity of existing frameworks, while maintaining completeness and consistency. To achieve this goal, six phases have been carried out: 1) Identifying the problem,2) Defining the solution objectives,3) Designing the Implementation Guide,4) Demonstrating the Implementation Guide,5) Evaluating the Implementation Guide, and lastly 6) Communicating. The resulting artifact consists of an interactive webpage where, depending on the role and the stage of enterprise architecture, the user is presented based on the ways of with a way of thinking, a way of modeling, a way of controlling and a way of supporting the development of that stage. Evaluation of acceptance was done with staff from the school using the technology acceptance model.
