The present study was to analyze the process of implementation of the Curricular Reorganization for Cycle I two District Educational Institutions, in the framework of the proposal of the District Department of Education who has been working in sectorial development plans of Bogota since 2004. With a qualitative approach , interpretive and descriptive type from a study case , in which, from a semi -structured interview aimed to eleven major representatives of the process of reorganization Curricular cycles (RCC ) , five categories are analyzed , analysis of the meaning and significance of the curricular reorganization ,pedagogical teaching practices transformations, the educational community role , the incidence of executive management and institutional tensions and organizational environment built on these two institutions during the development of the RCC. The results turn around the commitment of executive management, as this involves taking risks and challenges for a true curriculum transformation. From this management should lead the process in a clear and concise manner, without leaving options that allow the community to adjust their interests to convenience.
