Se realiza una revision sistematica de la literatura donde se plantea la caracterizacion de la situacion problema asociado a la necesidad de crear para el sector agroindustrial colombiano, especificamente para el Departamento del Magdalena, un modelo gerencial que se aproxime historica, conceptual, teorica y operativamente a la resolucion de las principales dificultades, limitaciones y amenazas detectadas desde la teoria y la praxis. En esta primera fase de investigacion doctoral se identificaron las principales limitaciones y alcances de la gerencia agrobiotecnologica para promover la innovacion.
