This paper shows the synchronization architecture ofBDMobIS, a system for the distribution ofbusiness processes between mobile devices in order to reduce execution times, and the amount of cornmunications among its participants. Synchronization is one of the most critical stages because it is responsible for keeping the normal flow of the process, even after its partitioning stage. A mechanism of synchronization and distribution is proposed, based on the insertion of synchronization activities which permit to keep the flow of execution, to share and exchange global information ofthe process, based on Short Messages Services. This article also presents a Study Case for the process of tuition fee payment at the university caBed Universidad del Cauca.
